  • Collenette, Sheila: Checklist of Botanical Species of Saudi Arabia
    The checklist tabulates 2,243 species in 837 genera as they refer to the author's collection numbers. The species are listed alphabetically under 142 families. An appendix documents locality data for all Asclepiadaceae collections together with a map locating them. There are 78 pages printed on high quality paper and the attractive cover, in full colour, shows four asclepiads and habitat views. The checklist will prove an essential adjunct to the understanding and enjoyment of this new volume. Published in 1998.   • A Checklist of Brachystelma, Ceropegia and the genera of the Stapeliads
    Stapeliad Checklist - A guide to alternative names used in recent stapeliad classification (Apocynaceae: Asclepiadoideae: Ceropegiae). Compiled by Dennis de Kock and Dr. Ulrich Meve, edited by Chris Moore assisted by Alan J. Butler and Robert Boatman, published in 2007 by the International Asclepiad Society. In recent literature on the revision of the various stapelioid genera within the tribe Ceropegieae, authors had different approaches on the aplication of genera and species names and ranking. In many cases plants were treated as different species and even genera, often making it rather confusing for users of names. In this list all names for each taxon are grouped together, as well as names applied in recent revisons, the original described name, any recently used names and well-known synonyms. The type species for the genera are indicated, and countries of known distribution are given. There are 127 pages printed on high quality paper and the attractive front and back covers, in full colour, show Orbea lutea ssp lutea and Ceropegia pachystelma respectively. Price: £30.00.
